Analysis of An April Snow
A walk in the wood on a snowy April day
Large gentle flakes holding Spring at bay
The newly green growth now hidden from sight
Suddenly-unexpectedly a glistening white
A robin flitted from branch to branch
Nosily protesting this snow of chance
New life -that had patiently waited to begin
Had to wait a little longer for the past to end
