Analysis of Amnesia in November
I haven't seen a familiar face in days
The morning passes and changes in so many ways
I'm climbing the stairs to the window where the stars won't shine
Just like all the friends and the lovers that used to be mine
Please reassure me that we're in heaven and not in hell
I can't recall all the faces I used to know so well
Trapped between bare walls where the shadows grow
Longer by hour to hour brought down by the rain and snow
I cannot guard against this terrible admission
When every eye looks at you passing with cold suspicion
Please tell me my name, I can't seem to remember
I feel like
An amnesiac at the end of November
