Analysis of Afraid-n-Growing old

All is forgotten
All seen
seems to be disappearing
in the clearing of times
once cherished
All must die
All must cry
life's like being born scorn
torn open into this world
unfolding arms
We are afraid
We are Heart ticking time bombs
Grenades waiting to explode
Unshaped hearts starting to breathe in death
the moment we entered life
Hearts swollen
stolen away in time dying
Hearts swallowing up mortar
till we become concrete in our ways
aged by circumstances
The need to be young again
disguising our skin
Liposuction
Botox
injections
dissecting us
just to keep up with time
Time
Time is dying inside us all
sooner or later we all say bye to all
and through all we've lived through
has this become you?
For all that's left is unlike you
Skin made of plastic
masking raw emotion
for a thought of youth
putting together the pieces that fell apart
Barbies and Ken dolls
Pink Corvettes and regrets
of the past
Plastic
Recycled lives
waiting to be disposed
We are irreplaceable
becoming intractable
unrecognizing
Staring in the mirror
asking who is facing you
unclear of who we really are
or used to be
an image of a stranger
Mommy and Daddy's baby
after we've been played with too long
like toys
confused minds
confusing time with age
confusing losing moments
to hold on to the future we haven't seen yet
fighting our inner demons
Pain hidden between the missing features
and creatures we've put inside ourselves
to numb us from feeling anymore
or knowing who we are
Scared dolls
like toys being born
avoiding reality
so afraid of dying...
