Advising is an act of love when knowledge is required.
Advising is a wisdom trove where insight is desired.

Consoling is an act of love when someone is bereaved.
Consoling is a soothing balm where sorrow is relieved.

Listening is an act of love when life events unfold.
Listening is active attention where a tale must be told.

Embracing is an act of love when union can atone.
Embracing is warm assurance where someone feels alone.

Forgiving is an act of love when conduct has betrayed.
Forgiving is dismissing guilt where errors have been made.

Nurturing is an act of love when there's a hungry heart.
Nurturing is the sustenance where essence needs impart.
