Analysis of Absent of Dreams
Absent of Dreams
My heart
now bleeds
for what I do not know
and what I cannot dream
For my thoughts
bear no fruit
within the night
for what I see in the day's sun
Amid the raindrops
from the Sycamore Tree
that gently fall in a breeze
from foliage of green
Where
the flowers rise in spring
amongst the songs of a nightingale
from the tree of sheen in heaven's ray
Now lost is the whispers
of rustling leaves
once touched by open air
absent of my dreams
