Analysis of a speeding bullet
my feet are weary from chasing after a speeding bullet
released from it's chamber
fired with all of it's emotions fuelled with the gun powder of
rage
pointed in a direction with all the intent
of moving to the very end
bringing down in total destruction
what ever soul it would meet in it's path
I am chasing after a speeding bullet... You.
and yes I was the finger that caressed the trigger and pulled
causing an accidental discharge
but for you it felt delibrate
I was a young ... I was a fool
and I thought that the gift called the heart was nothing but a toy
to be missused
and so your's all day and night with it I toyed
it was malleable in my hands
so I moulded it into an object with a barrel and a chamber
played russian roulette with it
and I would win a thousand times not one point less
and it was pointless to make you sit there and play a game
you were oblivious of
when all you did was from your injuries bleed pains of wanting
one thing, I could never relate with
and with age comes guilt and regrets
as I watch all those bullets fired, now from your unhealed wound
ricochet in the direction of your victim
your victim called the innocent
I have made a monster out of a gift
I have made a weapon out of something sweet
I have shattered.... I have fired.....
and now for attornment
I am chasing after a speeding bullet
