Analysis of 100 Meter Sprint

The speaker blares out the name of my event
I get into my block waiting for the loud bang
as a lion ready for the kill
This moment feels forever, it doesnt want to pass
My muscles and nerves are strung like strings on a guitar
I'm waiting for the shot
There are 100 meters between us and the finish line
So many want first place with such an aching thirst as a man in the skorching desert without any water.
Click click BANG! the sound rand in my ear as i burst out of my block with cat like reflexes.
my mind kept thinking of only one word
faster FASTER FASTER!
Slowly i gained ground, the others fell behind,
As the las sprinter stumbles with disappointment and defeat
Adrenaline rush pumping throught these veins
We wait in silence and despair sweat trickling down my hair
The times compared and the winner is pronounced!
The crowd is cheering now.
