“Work work work work work work”
the ants would sing as they marched
“Work work work work work work”
they do it until they were parched
“Work work work work work work”
always searching for plenty of food
“Work work work work work work”
never ever changing their blank mood
“Work work work work work work”
down in the dark tunnels they dig
“Work work work work work work”
night ‘n’ day, doesn’t matter how big
“Work work work work work work”
fighting intruders is in a day’s routine
“Work work work work work work”
and also stripping the bodies clean
“Work work work work work work”
the young are constantly tended to
“Work work work work work work”
so the cycle continues with the new
“Work work work work work work”
the ants would sing as they marched

they do it until they were parched
