Analysis of Music part 1

New record released
At the store in line
Waiting time not real time
Queue line serpentine

LP in hand
Cover designed by the band
List of songs behind
Music a magic wand

Moving in circles
Made of Vinyl
Stacked in a spindle
On the turntable

Long play and Extended play
Inside the record the music lay
Stylus caressing the phonograph
Created music Reverbating
Filling the room
A new name to Sound
Residing forever in the soul
Takes the music to its abode

Decades before the Internet
Figuring the  lyrics a challenge
A new song birthed out of
Our own imagination
Amateurs too became musicians

Rock bands of the Seventies
Greatest era for music
Era and Genre a boon to Music industry
Trivia and knowledge about them
Spawned another industry

Sheer genius in playing
Talent and skill in composing
A sound everlasting
Changing lifes very meaning
Bands were Gods in creating

Medicine for depression
Company for loneliness
Solitude for Reflection
Ecstasy for Celebration
Very reason for existence

Collecting  records a passion
Music created with perfection
Requires the  deserved attention
Loosing them a sin beyond
Redemption

Every album of every band
A part of the collection
Becoming a reality the very mission
Exchanging with friends
A tradition
Mission slowly coming to fruition

Casstte and Compact Disc
Times answer to technology
Format changed taste  didn't
Calender changed passion didn't

Part of life for a lifetime
Very Reason for existence
Music adds to its richness
Inflation or depreciation
Not in its valuation

Has no agenda
Gives you the option
Only excess not a sin
So is not listening

It exists in Silence
It exists in Noise
It exists in Voice
It exists in Choice

By definition divine
Casts its spell
Musicians with their wizardry
Capture hearts completely

Has no form
Cannot be seen
Nothing to believe
Nothing to Understand
Cannot transcend
Has no beginning
Has no end
Become one with
Its bandwidth
Did god create music
Or music the temple
Where he resides with his allure
Answers to life
Suddenly seem so simple
