Analysis of Grateful

Living in the Past
Memory of it last
Time passing fast
Perception often Contrast

No man an island
Entire life Spanned
Ego so grand
Easily misunderstand

Midst of misery
Alone we Stand
Helping hand
God's Hand

Memory Of Act
Return it back
Pay it forward
Expect no Reward

Neglect the gesture
Lack of character
Come back later
Haunt you further

Gratitude forgotten
Objectivity Justification
Soul Sold
In future History hold

Conscience Corrupted
Actions Equated
Known included
Unknown excluded

Attained Mission
Value none
Biggest loser
Forgot Giver

Not Against law
Character flaw
No judge
To judge
Both arguments
From same side

Eye to eye
With the lie
Haunt you
Till you die

Worth measured
Indebtedness valued
Reflects Price
Of your life

Lacking obligation
Guidance not requited
Badge of shame
Hangs in your frame

Character on the line
Thankfulness the Mettle
Forego and forget
Make a date to
Dance with the Devil
