Analysis of Alone with you forever, alone forever with me.
Alesha C 1993 (Tempe,AZ)
Sure the pain left you wounded.
Many nights you spent crying alone.
Empty and devastated by his actions.
Left in a house you shared as a home.
But was it ever really love to begin with?
Did he actually value your worth?
Did he prove to protect your feelings and keep your best intentions first?
Did he always keep you safe?
Could he help find the strength in you,
when you fell out of place?
Would he have kept all your secrets?
And how much did he lie?
Well behind the face you thought you loved was just a broken guy.
And through the time of loving,
Did pain hit faster than you'd think?
Did you fall so quickly and hard for him that you completely forgot to blink?
Did his anger not concern you?
Could you tell alcohol was his itch?
Did you seem to forget the way that he would always call you a bitch?
Do you remember when he devalued your soul and begged for the girl from the show?
And remember that night when his ego took flight and he showed you his love to be cold?
Was the devotion you had for him plenty?
Did he make you feel complete?
Or was it only ever a hope for a love that repeatedly had you defeated?
Did you know that he was not patient?
Were you aware he was selfish and mean?
Don't forget the way he was breaking you down to the lowest point of your being.
He was using you like his puppet
Every wish was your command.
But his insecurities of his own behavior, pushed himself to misunderstand.
And the alcohol he was consuming,
made him hate you more and more.
Hed assume you to have some secret life
Just to wake up and forget why your torn.
Sure his crooked smile was all that was needed to take it all away. Through his touch and manipulation, you'd quickly shake off yesterday.
Just remember the moments that came perfect,
had only come but so rare.
And the vulnerable moments together,
It was only you who truly cared.
He was just there for the moment, so he kept his mind in the past. Cause he knew soon enough you'd call it quits ,
he knew it wouldn't last.
For the love was only a feeling, the affection from one other’s soul..
And now that feeling is gone away and has left your heart with a hole.
Don't forget the battle you conquered
Be thankful you walked away.
Cause the toxic life he held you in was not your place to stay.
You're stronger than you know it.
Anything you want you can be.
Alone with you forever, forever alone with me.
