Analysis of Insomnia (2nd part to fearful dream)
Dominick Harvey 1993 (FL)
I am sleep but wide awake
My body is still
Mind is irate
What is it that keeps me up at night
A disorder hiding in the shadows
Imaging ways to lurk
How to disrupt the natural causes of the anatomy
But is it just a mental thing
Gears churning rear returning
Scared to let go and let My eyes close
Scared of what might come next
Never knowing myself even when I'm at my best
This thing called sleep is impossible for me
Glued to one spot
Gathering the Will to flee
My body works against me as is we are enemies
Misunderstood of ways to conquer it
Slumber well Never be content
I understand the worst
But not being in control 2 bodies 1 soul
I realize I am cursed
