I've passed you letters but you seem distant like a soldier at war but the response to the letters killed me but I came back to find you asked God to give me insight on what you are thinking, does my name prove worthy of a single thought
Does my smell tag memory of us back when we were just friends in grade school?

Does my voice play on repeat like a scratched DVD

Remembering the names that you called me that you shouted in the storm
