Analysis of 2020 Santa

By: Curtis Carroll,27/10/2020

“Twas Xmas 2020 and all thru the year,
Were Rioters and looters, terrorizing cities with fear;
Santa needed to shop for his trip on Xmas day,
so, he had to order online from Amazon and eBay.

Tired of the curfews and lockdown, he summoned his Elves,
To load up his sleigh with toys from his closets and shelves;
His children needed a break from the routine at home,
Helping with the chores, and cleaning their room.

Sadly, to say, the cities that allowed all the unrest,
Will have to be avoided during this trip at best’
The Cancel-Culture and the virus from China.
Were doing away with Santa and Aunt Jemima.

So only the cities were common sense still rule,
Where children are happily back in school;
Where family get-togethers are still allowed,
Social-distancing, but not in a crowd.

Ho! Ho! Ho! And away we go,
Thru wind, rain and Winter snow,
Where we wind up, is anybody’s guess;
Only the children will know…more or less!
