Analysis of A Dream, A Goal, A Warning

Days are long
Yet we move on

For one common goal
We unite as one

Recruits from across the nation
We are just a fraction

Not all will pass the test
So, do your best

Only a few make it
Not all will claim it
None can take it

To be a hero…
To become a marine

That is the goal
This civilian has told

There is no “I” in team
As one we can all succeed

If we fail to see
A team we salnt be

If a recruit is Selfish
Then they will fall

That recruit didn’t fail
no,
we failed them

Please don’t forget
You can’t go back

We will be a team
No longer individuals

Just waiting for the day
That one day….
