Analysis of That's How He Roll
That's How We Flow
sitting at the table eating my fresh surf and turf near the ocean basking in the waves
cheap thrills paying all those bills but that's how we roll should have told this years ago
here it goes its about an old couple who took in an adopted son a bundle of joy to share
came in all the way from China.
trained Kim everyday down at the basketball courts in time he would shine
although those many years would pass having every reason to grasp a super hero among us
Then one day he awoke at the N.B.A. playing for the Boston Celtics
carrying on as he will soaring to new heights payiing the bills
then one day out of desperation he went into a bar looking for a fight in the night
there was a battle that took place right there at the bar and guns were drawn
Kim shot a man dead now he was out on the run from the police bbut in time
He turned himself in now he was on death row sought the pain from head to toe
yet he didn't know his great purpose in life amidst the glitz and roll of dice
managed to get a job in prison selling gifts for children as novelties
one day he received a letter from an admirer of his toy monkey saying Jesus loves you
he never heard those stirring words until a preacher came into prison with a message of salvation...
Out of mere hesitation at first yet he fully surrendered his life to the cross of Jesus.
still he had to do his time but on pardon from the president and he was released
living out the rest of his days under the watch of the F.B.I.
still Kim knew he was passionate to be a ghost writer for rap stars
kept at it until one day Death Bomb Records picked him up
now he thought he was fulfilled until a knock on his door it was the preacher man from prison.
You were to rap to the masses he exclaimed but under your current situation preaching might just be your game.
Kim, tired and frustrated on what he should be just caved in and exclaimed, "Christ in me with the hope of glory".
that was the end of the story.
