Jeg gaaer at søge Urten, som kan læge.
Ud i den dunkle Nat!
Mig vil det vederqvæge!
Jeg bærer selv en Vunde i mit Hjerte,
Min Tanke altid bøied sig mod den.
Nu føler jeg den ei! Det er din Smerte,
Som brænder der, min stakkels, unge Ven!
Vent paa min Atterkomst!
Jeg bringer Urten Dig, Din Lykkens Blomst.
