til min Boghandlers yngste Søn

Bogladen er en sand Aladdins Hule,
Med Træer fra Goethes Park og Shakspear's Land,
Med Blomst fra Hindostan og Mos fra Thule,
Med Perler klare — tidt det bare Vand.
Der er Du voxet op fra lille Fyr,
Ja Du er født i den Aladdins Hule,
Og maa da skatte meer, end kun en Smule
Hvad Mængden kalder: „Børne-Eventyr".
