Analysis of No Shame
I looked for the hope in this dark of night
My strength was gone and I’d lost the fight,
Waves of sorrow sank me ever down
And regret came along to help me drown.
My way was obscured by a deep despair,
Until a caring friend lifted me up in prayer,
Before the throne of untold grace,
They pled that God would hear my case.
My friend heard me tell them I’m not okay,
And didn’t tell me it was wrong to say,
And when I said my heart was shattered, They showed me how much I really mattered.
I hope some day I can pay them back,
And help someone whose night is black.
To lift someone who needs a hand,
And help them once again to stand.
