Analysis of FEELS LIKE YESTERDAY
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
The pain hurts the same just like it happened yesterday and not years ago I know mama said it is about time that you let go of the guilt is not good for your health. I thought that I did at last but every year I find myself remembering the past. the knock on my door saying your brother passed away, I was half asleep and for once I did not have any words to say.
I sat in my room with tears in my eyes blasting my heavy metal as I smashed shit up asking a million questions about why you died. feels like yesterday that the angels took away.
Lately, I have been getting signs that you have a message that you want me to receive that you are telling me that there are a thousand more reasons of why I should I believe
