Analysis of NO PROMISES OF TOMORROW

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Why wait for tomorrow what you can do today?
There were waves of storms that were meant to send me down to those places where my voice would not even be a sound. I wake up to the sun, sometimes I wake up to my best friend the moon. There are those who look at me and say some people are just not meant to leave so soon.

I look at my life with great relief and a newfound belief
my story should be a movie but all the actors I would want to play me are dead and would say he's one of a character
