Analysis of Harold Fry Story turned Movie in April

Take an out of shape man in his retirement. Having difficulties with his wife and ill-directed Son.

Give him news about the chronic cancer condition of his former female workmate in the Brewery Office.

How might he contact her? Comfort her? Letters? Nah.

He must hike to her. Yeah that’s what I said.

Hike through many districts, cultures, dialects, responses of kindness. Or not. Interfering media and cult followers. Wow.

From home near the English Channel to way up near Edinburgh.

Harold Fry had some guts.

His Friend was waiting.
