Analysis of Somber Tempest of Solitary Anguish
Wrapped in a veil of melancholy malaise:
In solitude's abode, with naught for comfort
Save a voice on the line, to alleviate the weight
As tempests amass in a portentous fort.
The firmament darkens to a lugubrious hue
As fulminations strike, illuminating the nocturnal hours
The terra beneath quivering, as if imbued
With trepidation at the howling tempest's powers.
And precipitation commences to cascade in a cataclysmic deluge
On screens, the news broadcasts visages of lamentation
Cyclonic disturbances wreaking havoc on the land with a scourge
In spiraling paths of devastation they ravage
So close, yet so terrifying to behold
Grateful to have been spared, but filled with a sense of dread and woe.
