Analysis of Dancing Around Conflicts
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Dancing around,
An escalating storm of conflicts.
Over time has been a selling to claim,
Them to begin...
By those disparaged.
Purposely disenfranchised.
And unqualified to represent an image,
Of a pretentiousness to fiction it.
Giving this reason to be the cause,
Many denying...
Their own closeted blemishes and flaws,
An entitled to exclude and delude...
Them to have and exist.
With dismissing the truth and reality,
They are the hypocrites.
Yet...
Dressed to masquerade,
Themselves to be Christians.
Faithfully imitating to adorn and wear,
Crucifixes displayed around their necks.
And an ability to quote scriptures.
Without knowing what they mean.
Although this has not kept them,
Immune from proving...
Themselves from preventing,
Division, racism and conflicts they start.
To then blame to claim,
Themselves to be innocently victimized.
By the rising effect of ethnic diversity.
In a democracy they depend upon.
As a way of life.
With an ending of it.
That leaves an image to reflect as just 'white'.
While they stay to dance,
Around a storm if conflicts.
Doing to add more fuel to fire.
Unsatisfied and absent of common sense.
Yet...
Stay they will,
To claim the blame...
On their own homes,
And the comfort of a spoiled way of life...
As an entitled given to prove the right,
They can and will...
Burn everything around them,
Down to the ground.
With a doing done as they damn will please.
'You know...
What you are doing to others,
To believe them to lose everything.
Well...
I don't want to be a party pooper.
But...
As a fly once enjoying being on your wall.
Aren't you at least curious at all,
That your own walls are up in flames?!'
'Keep your opinionated observation,
To yourself.
What do you take me for?
An idiot or a fool?'
'Geeessshhh...
If only you had provided me more options.
Before you took it upon yourself,
To now ask me what I think.
Do you know how long,
I have been a fly on your wall.
Trying to prevent you,
From doing outrageous and stupid...'
'Go ahead.
Say it.
Say it, I dare you!'
'And I was the only one you thought amusing,
Doing the backstroke in your buttermilk.
Warning you about,
Overdoing your pretensions!'
'Too late for that choice for me to make.
Thanks alot!
Whose wall do you suggest?'
