Analysis of "Mother Nature's Dress of the Carpathian Forest: Winter Season"

Frosted rubies wrap on neck of birch branches.
Snow drifts over like a veil covering
Carpathian green-turned-yellow garments of grass.

Pedunculate oak pendants raise between hills,
Among the common beech brooches.
All tipped and jeweled of the northern snow.

Clawed Eurisian lynx and hooved Tatra chamois thread snow,
Stitching in patterns; zigzag, up and over, down and round.
But a padded-pawed bear hidden in the bosom of a cave.

Mirror Synevyr iced into palms of hands,
Fingers of fir cup reflection,
See above, sky flaked over in crystal dust.

Filling moist clouds, a golden eagle.
Perfume of wet blurred by the fowl.
Star-crossed eyes blind to see through.   

Nest rings on stiff, snow-laden limbs.
Thick stumps covered in white nylons.
All covered over.

Twigs, those acute freckles, scattered.
Frizzled curls of determined begonias.
Rocks, those natural blemishes--unappealing but still most beautiful.

All covered by powder of concealer.

Hefty breath of winds,
Frigid only by conformity.  
Spring up when it's time to undress!

I wish for spring all the time.
