Analysis of White Rose
Vintage ruffle, pure and white
Nature’s lace, Oh, lovely sight
Pearl petals bringing delight
Dancing in the midday light.
Emerald bow of green below
Lime foliage swings to and fro
Twisted wreath through lattice grows
Springtime baubles, splendid show.
Wrapped in cellophane, what joy
That is when they’re best enjoyed
Box of chocolates or stuffed toy
With verses penned by Tolstoy.
