Analysis of The Cauldron

Booming canons, marching soldiers
To the doldrums of unrest-
Firing rifles, aghast beholders!
In the fangs of their tempest;
A muffled mob-stacked on the trill of terror-
Ruffled away, astray, aground!-
Astray, astray-the earth's composure-
Aground-its terrorized, its treasured.

March, march, march! to the Belarusian border
Must assassinate, they are no brothers-
Crusaders! Fie on you, Pierrots jester-like
Roosters battling-a dramatic fight!

Beavering; to choose the weaker for sacrifice-

To slaughter the one weaker, to scoop out his eyes-
To witness in bliss, his dawdling demise!-

The carmine earth, the medieval mirth
Wrap their claws 'round history, in strife
The scabbard swaddles the device to kill-
Whose bullets pierce the baffled bulletins!
Their recalcitrance! The ordeal!

Unlock it!-Man's flawless machine,
Waltz away to the boomerangs of insanity-
O Gladiators on the battlefield!

A Satanic grudge!-
A penultimate purge!
The cacophony of the mind-
Before Silence takes over

Its indoctrinated ambiguity

In its inevitable certainty,
The clash of the creeds!
A bifurcation of the breed-
This anthropological mystery!

You composed hymns of our unity!-
Lo! Fie, fie, fie!-

Symbolic of fear!-of a nauseatic fear,
Adolf's teeny-weeny mustache-
Emanates from which, this great hysteria,
Of being reduced to the dusty Jewish ash!

It bends and it drops,
The pronunciation of baldergash!-
Anthologies of gibberish, too cumbersome the ideals
A hollow corpse of Humanity-
Eh! the odor of flesh, do you feel?

"Oh, yes, Jew, O you, you I'll bash,
Your peckish bod into the face of Holocaust!"

Horrendous, the dearth of Kinship's bond-
A cannibal mutation;

Roosters beavering, a comical battle!-
Jesters of the arbitrary fight,

Bloody- to the spectator's delight!
Repeat the drill in warfare today-
And behold! on nightmares alight.

Kill, kill, kill without falter!
O nestor's battalion-crusaders, druggards!-
Inebriating!-the game bloodied and battered
Oh, this great, colossal manslaughter!
An annihilating sight!

An indistinguishable red-its upturn chronicled
In history's yellowed pages of parchment,
The sheets of forgetfulness!-the ricochet, the rebellion!
Frozen into stagnation-the altruistic aeon,
As the termites ate their voice, and the dust concealed their coffins,
The tales they bespoke-cremated under the print
Of poetries, of romance, of fantasies
Of the kalopsia beguiling-

Cremated the lessons bespoken

Today, reopened-the frenzied blood flow!-
Repeating itself, an old refrain, its lyric aglow:

Horrendous, the dearth of Kinship's bond-
A cannibal mutation;

They weave their opus-a maneater, monster-
Dire rapacity of blood splatter!
Its fabrication-a regurgitation of the gutter-
It gnaws at and extracts the blood and jus
It devours and gobbles up the Earth's sinew-
And when all is done and dusted, O harebrained!-
We'll declare it, yes,-the opus of Warfare.

Horrendous, the dearth of Kinship's bond-
A cannibal mutation;

What a grief!-a gibberish!
To witness imbeciles-
Toppling into flames-furnishing their Holocaust
Complaisant-of their mirthy must-
This poignant parody!
Devouring flesh, devouring sanity;
To Demise, their pirouette-
Till Death's dear embrace
Stillness' snare,
Sweet silence

The Pied-Piper's hypnosis!
And money!-the accomplice

O suicidal scavenger!
A slur of the tongue-derogatory,
A stammer of the words-of the gobbledygook!
Of the ideals, the constitution
Of nincompoops-
Of a gamble begrudging

Horrendous, the dearth of Kinship's bond-
A cannibal mutation;

Money!-Lo! money-
Aye, thy great gluttony;
The penny and pound, the seed-the nemesis
The comeuppance-a canker on humanity!

An inherited disease-
Mutilating the species;-
Mutilating the chromosome,
The nucleus, the genes-

Its insobriety-a dizzying disease;
A cavernous cauldron,
Its stupor numbing-the grindstone extracting consciousness-
The gaze of Gorgon!
Transforming into effigies-
Of alabaster, carvings-bereft of life, bereft of prudence-
For they don't think twice before pulling their triggers on children.

About this poem

This is a poem written about the pointlessness and annihilation caused by war as those who indulge in this great mass assinating machinery, are like druggards causing irrevocable harm to innocent civilians without any political perspectives, etc. Over here, there is a drift from past to present that has been incorporated to illustrate the repetitive destruction caused by warfare, time and again, and to allude to the moldiness and filth of this entire ideology, stupefying spectators.
