Analysis of Encumbrance
JOCEL L. MOJAR 1999 (ALBAY)
The world has many hardships
Which is totally uncontrollable
In my mind, a voice is asking
Why is there poverty?
Why is there suffering?
The price of the goods is high
The value is immeasurable
As well as the everyday expenses
Water, electricity, clothes, food
A daily life encounter
Life is hard
Just pain and problems
Perplexed, confusing
What will I do?
What am I going to do?
The fare is costly
I can't go out and have fun
Go to the mall or park
Buy the things that I want
Because there is no money
No savings
All used up
There's nothing left
Budget is always insufficient
Barely making ends meet
Borrowing money is the last option
Getting through each day
Is all I think about
Rely on luck
Like I always do
It is really hard to live
The world is indeed unfair
Looking for a job is also difficult
I bet on the lottery
But I didn't win
Opportunity is limited
Hard to catch
I am deprived
Of dreams and ambitions
Don't know where to go
Who can I lean on?
I looked left and right
Up and down
North and South
East and West
Waiting for a miracle
Finding for someone to hold onto
But I haven't found anyone
Or anything
It is pointless
No friends
No connections
No one helped me
Nobody gave their sympathy
Nobody supported
I am just an ordinary person
Frustrated and depressed
The things that I want
Are out of reach
Hard to get
To be happy
Is something I would love to feel
I want to have
A good life
But how?
How am I going to do that?
I try to make a way
A lot of times
Doing my best
To survive
It is very sad and complicated
My energy is drained
I am running out of motivation
I pray
And I hope that my life goes well
