Analysis of Winds of war

Joseph Berolo 1934 (Bogotá)

WINDS OF WAR
Shock and Awe in Ukraine

Winds of war are blowing in a future of fright
the hasty attack of the deaf beasts fills the air
with terror; there is a bitter look on the face
of the people before the invader and his fatal path.

Eternal are the hours of dire threats;
they don't end, new cursed nights prevail
of imperial madness, of flames and bullets
and clusters of missiles wiping out so many lives.

In the crazy dimension of Mariupol -
the soviet of yesteryear wrapped in abysmal mushrooms
roars in its arrogance of imperial myths.

Nothing can repair such infernal madness.
Ukraine is a huge bed for orgies of embattled men,
 bacchanal of beasts copulating with fatal haste.
