Analysis of Is this all a dream

Many years I've dreamed about you,  though I had never seen your face.
My mind can't comprehend,  did I manifest you into this time and space?
Perfection in your beauty,  your body, spirit, mind...
I do not understand why you are so humble and so kind.
I thought we had just met for friendly intellectual talk.
but there was instant recognition that gave my soul a distinct shock.
At a time where a relationship was furthest from my mind
You shook the ground I stand on, made my reality unwind
Nearly twelve months later and I still cannot explain
I will sacrifice myself to save you from any form of pain.
You terrify and excite me, this instant attachment unsurpassed
Is this what true love feels like,  I have no precedent to contrast.
Obvious soul connection I simply cannot comprehend
I pray to God for answers,  are you my one who never ends?
