Analysis of Christ church-Little Drayton-Shropshire.

Christ church, Little Drayton-one of God`s sacred `plots of Heaven on Earth,
where, throughout the years, devout worshippers have ever proved their worth.

The unassuming majesty of the building, yet simplicity abounds everywhere,
reflecting the life of our Lord, who trod this world, in surround so bare.

Such beauty, built by steady and caring hands, now many generations ago,
has stood the test of time in this transient world, where some still do know
that the true wealth of life lies NOT in human pursuit of financial gain.
The spiritual gift we are all blessed with at birth and throughout life retain,
is here quite apparent-regularly observed especially in the breaking of bread
and the drinking of wine-`the body and blood of Christ` we are eternally fed.

Ancient tiled floor, the font and `stained` glass windows depicting Biblical event,
(of those in Palestine, many years ago, but relevant still today, faithfully meant!)
In lasting colours, made `fast` by traditional glass making skills, in multi hues,
the mighty organ, it`s tones heard and bass bourdons often vibrating the pews!

This church, since my early childhood, has played a very important part
in my spiritual growth, throughout life, the essence Divine placed in my heart.

In fairly recent times `mixed fortunes` have decreed(nothing in life continually runs smooth(ly)
that `stormy waters` have had to be negotiated-a need to re assess and improve.
The challenge was met with enthusiastic vigour, one `battle` won, the `war` ongoing,
but still the loyal congregation are always intent on positive `seeds` sowing.

Out in the churchyard, many close to me in life, now peacefully `sleep`,
wating patiently for the time when the Lord will return and do keep
constant vigil, for worldly time now means nothing to them, as they lay
ever prepared in death(if maybe not in life), for that glorious day,
when He will invite them to again be at his side, ever sure,
the meek  SHALL inherit the Earth, the unchaste become pure.
This church and it`s generations of the faithful will forever remain,
of this fact, I`m sure-comfort and re-assurance forever we will gain.
