Analysis of Wrong Turn

Driving through this thing called life
Unexpectedly there are more failures than things you get right
I held on tight to the seat belt as I let you drive
Not realizing you were under the influence that hindered how we could thrive
We jumped speed bumps and avoided the law
But as I looked in the mirror all I could see was my flaws
I yelled I screamed even cried for you to slow down and to look at me
Before I knew it we were drowning too deep
Unequipped with the proper gear to survive
Stuck in a disaster as we both slowly died
I reach out hoping you would save me
With a sudden gasp it was all a dream
I yelled I scream even cried to turn around
Then I realize the love had drowned
Stuck in this nightmare of what I thought was a dream come true
Then God said I made the wrong turn the moment I fell in love with you!
