Analysis of Warriors Against All Woes

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Oh...
Those warriors against all woes grow bolder.
Shoulder to shoulder.
And appearing out from behind closed doors.
Those warriors.
Against all woes.
Representing every ethnic race.
Fed up with division and nonsense faced.
Taking place.

Among them are the young and those older.
Together with voices raised to hear.
Clear to begin,
A demand to end...
What is happening to and around them.
With opened eyes not to deny or delude,
The quality of their lives...
Does not include B.S. to accept it.

Oh...
Those warriors against all woes grow bolder.
And shoulder to shoulder,
They have begun to observe and witness...
For themselves to see it shown.
Without words of gossip to whisper it.
Or innuendos to allege,
Others from foreign shores...
Have come to threaten,
The land where they stand to call home.

They have begun to observe and witness...
Their own people fighting among themselves.
With beliefs to deceive,
Citizens of various ethnic diversities...
Patriots all.
Have wishes to replace the face of democracy.
When those feeding to feast exclusively,
Are not only the culprits...
Corrupted fraudsters and thieves.
But also the ones creating,
Civil unrest and havoc to accept.
Done to hopefully to obtain success,
With upsetting everyone...
To believe and expect,
Those thoughtless and unconscious...
Will reject,
Race baiting and replacement theories.
Theories that have made,
No sense to make in a place...
Where a democracy known to be great,
And dependent upon all races.
Today...
Is being destroyed.
By the very ones who idolize,
Symbols and images.
More worshipped.
Than the truth and reality of it to live.

'How can anyone hate,
Everyone who has contributed...
To the quality and their way of life?'

'That message is lost to an image sold.'

'And...
That image sold long to have grown old.
To leave it fed to believe,
For how long?'

'As long as resources,
Have been abundant and perceived...
To feed a great economy!
But now...
The fading of a diminishing economy,
Is being blamed on the rise of ethnic diversity.'

'Oh?
Blame it on the ones,
Historically disparaged and disenfranchised?'

'Uh...
Why not?
To blame it on those,
Who feed and feast exclusively...
Would be too embarrassing,
To reveal the truth of it.
Especially for the ones,
Witnessed to observe and see...
Destroying the freedoms and entitlements,
Received.
Granted to be given,
In their own unique democracy.'

'Well...
Deception to fiction reality,
Have been lessons to teach and learn.
And...
Has nothing to do,
With prioritizing the essentials of details.
Or their importance to maintain,
A greatness!'

'Dear Father God,
High in the invisible Heaven above.
Why did you not create,
More with common sense to appreciate?
Has this been YOUR way,
To test the sanity...
Of the ones doing their best,
Trying to remain faithful.
And as sane as possible.
For as long as YOU permit,
This challenging effort to endeavor?'

'Are you praying?'

'There are times that come,
I don't know what to call it.

It's like riding a bike.
To believe I can do it with my eyes closed.

But these days we live?
I keep them open as wide as possible.
Never to know...
From where the voice of common sense comes.
It is not often I hear it coming out if the mouth,
Of another human being.'

'Have you ever seen,
Anyone run into traffic with eyes closed?'

'No.
Why?'

'Years ago I was tempted.
And then I thought,
Only a fool would be that stupid.
So I waited until the coast was clear.'

'The coast?
Clear of what?'

'Woes.
To easily let them go!'
