Analysis of My Drug
When I fall you lift me up
I desire the feeling of numbness you give me
You relieve my stress and help me sleep
I act differently when I am with you
As you multiply everyday
My eyes become bloodshot
My heart races
Concentration breaks
I have gone too far with you
You took my breath away
I should have never trusted you

About this poem
This poem was the second published in 2022. It is about how drugs can go from a good medicine to an addicting source. I wrote this to show how drugs can be good but once it takes advantage of you then you fall into a vicious cycle.
