Analysis of God's Gift

When God created Mother's,
 He created a unique gift.
One wrapped in skin,
 Clothed in beauty,
Adorned in strength,
 Draped in love.
He made her to be a watchman,
to be there as a protector as the world turns.
He made he to be a tutor,
a guiding light as we grow.
He made her to be a confidante,
a listening ear as we grow young and restless.
He made her to be an affirmer and encourager,
as we became bold and beautiful.
He made her to become a general hospital,
as we sometimes needed healing and nurturing from wounds we had inflicted or caused to ourselves.
Mothers were made to be a source of love, acceptance,
A picture of God Himself as we continue throughout the days of our lives.
Mother's are God's gift of Elegance and Grace,
Strength and Love,
Adoration and Peace.

About this poem

I wrote this poem as a tribute to all mother's, especially my late mother, Mable R. Randall. She embodied everything that is in this poem, and so do my aunt's.
