Analysis of A New Song

Tony Kruska 1988 (New York)

In struggle we find our way through the darkest of days
People live their daily lives in so many ways
We've been lying to ourselves for way too long
I think it's time for all of us to sing a new song
Conditioned since birth to accept what we've been handed
Running out of time this whole reality is branded
When you wake up from the dream you will see it wasn't real
The world just wants to know you now so tell them how you feel
