Analysis of "Where Are You?"
We’ll meet again soon, I know.
When we were young, we saw each other grow.
Now, my heart yearns and wonders,
Maybe it was my fault, I made many blunders.
Are you still there playing in the snow?
You’re probably long gone, although,
I never got to travel with you to and fro.
Now I sit inside, hearing thunders.
We’ll meet again.
I remember you taught me to sew,
And how you made us cookie dough.
I’m falling in and out of slumbers,
I count sheep, I count the numbers,
I miss you and your lovely glow.
We’ll meet again.
