Analysis of Silent Thoughts

I was told to write about
Silent racing thoughts
By a sister and a comfort
Someone I love a lot

I was told to write about
Suffocating in her brain
I was told to write about
Her version of piercing pain

I was told to write about
Forgetting who you are
Because her thoughts had run to fast
How the’re still running way to far

I was told to write about
Helping other people way to much
That the blood that YOU had shed
Becomes frigid at the touch

For if you can not help yourself
You become something less than human
And your brain is so in pain
Your thoughts will race right through it

But For her,
Helping other people
Pump blood through their own veins
Was her body's way of saying
She was really the one in pain

So
I hope that her brain slows down
And she realizes how much
The people that she loves
All love her and care because

She is kind and she's funny
And she really cares, so much
BaHa,
No matter how much running
Don't let your brain give up.
