Analysis of Thank you Miss Anne and please forgive me

gregg connolly 1956 (pennsylvania)

Thank you for the caring, love and emotions that you sowed upon me and the world

Thank you for the greatest gift of 3 children, and even more

Thank you for teaching them to love and feel, thank you for the neverending desire to make each day feel like a holiday and even more for making each holiday an event that was cherished,

Thank you for your loveydoveyness, your sillywilliness, your ticklelygigglyness, your huggywuggyness, and your indomitable, intrepid spirit.

Thank you for your attention to the small things in life that added up to big things

Thank you for the constant care of the home, the culinary delights you loved creating and we loved eating, the sit by the fireplace feeling you brought to us, our friends, and strangers.

Thank you for making my life real

Forgive me for my abject failure to see the panoply of love you gave to me

Forgive me for my contemptible failure to return so many gifts,

I am truly sorry and ashamed.
