Analysis of IN LOVE WITH A DEMON

I'm talking about the time when angels and demons still existed

It was a while back when a angel enveloped me in its white aura as if I could be a star
until I was no more
as it revealed its true self one day,

Things were never the same again
I felt entrapped in a deep void
I felt lost

when the others laughed when the angel opened up that it was nothing but a demon in disguise,
I could not, in absolute terror I stood by then
my mind a colossal mess, I stood abashed

A demon in disguise had been luring me with all its charm and worldliness
Casting a magical spell on me,
Making me have feelings that I wasn't having
My mother knew better,

Even after a realization that it was a demon, I knew how angel that demon was
seeming different …

A demon in disguise had been luring me with all its charm and worldliness
Casting a magical spell on me,
Making me have feelings that I wasn't having
My mother knew better,

Even after a realization that it was a demon, I knew how angel that demon was
seeming different from all others I've seen,
seeming to profess a unique view which no one had,
so strangely flawless and pure

Shimmering in her white being, her picture was the epitome of desire and unblemished beauty

deeply enchanted and bewitched by her I couldn't stop myself,
she put me in shackles to her

After the course of so many things
whatever it might be,

The strangest thing was I loved that demon,
Regardless of whatever might have happened
I was deeply in love with it,
I did not want to lose her

That's exactly what I was concerned of
I knew it shouldn't be happening
I knew it was wrong

My lover was the society's anti-god.
God's bane

I couldn't even imagine a situation
where someone could possibly come to know of this
especially my mother...

I stood shamed of this inclination

But desire paved by all our differences, reducing it into ashes
it also had a rather toxic obsession attached to it

I still wanted to believe that it hadn't been a demon
as it would mean even I was one

In all its white glory, it showed me of a world
I thought couldn't ever be possible for someone like me,
She put a spell on me which I couldn't possibly escape by any means

just the picture of her was what one could call ravishing
An insatiable, voracious passion flowed unabated by both sides,
We both knew it
an irresistible urge to stay with her all my life remained

However, our love was abhorred by everyone
even god couldn't save us

The truth was that I saw an angel who could come to terms with her feelings
I swear,
only I knew it

And it was only me the demon who couldn't come to terms with my feelings,
and fooled myself over and over again to be someone who I was not

The demon existed not out but within

I poured my scorn and contempt
Whenever I did meet that demon again
I did not know why

I yelled at her for no reason all the time,
And Wailed, Wailed and Wailed in my room, until my eyes couldn't become any redder,

those times I cut my hands a lot,
painful as it may seem
It again takes me to my demon whenever I see it now
euphoric scars were they

I knew I was going to lose my demon

The society made me lose my demon,
and it triumphed,
defeated I stood

but one thing I knew for sure
no bastard could,
even with the slightest of all touches, touch my memories of my demon

It was my only refugee from reality,
a reality which was worse than hell could ever have been

In my memories of her i found solace

whatever had happened

she was always and would ever be my demon
no one could change it
I knew it, she knew it

It was just meant to be like this

we were just meant to be distant stars gleaming lifelessly at our own portions of the expanse sky where no peace remained and no rainbow could be found

we just had to mourn at our hollow fate, no peace remained within us, only an eternal pain found a place

we just came to terms with our fate
and kept our distance

after all, she was a demon and I was an angel
