Analysis of Feelings

Liz Rodgers 2003 (Minnesota)

I love you
It hurts
I cry
It stings
I hate you
I feel stupid
I lie to you
I can’t
I flirt with you
I smile
I do something wrong
I apologize
I hate these feelings
Because they are for you
And yet I can’t help them
It hurts
But yet I can’t
Because I love you so much
I want to trust you and I do
I just do not trust others with you
You are to nice
And I love you for it
But I wonder what it would be like if we never met
If you found someone better
I just don’t know what you see in me
Am I really worth it to you
These are the things that I feel
The things that tear me apart
The reason why I have difficulty trusting
Why I am like this
I am scared of you leaving
But I want you to know that I love you
