Analysis of The hope of a bright day.

It is a bright new day
I wonder if things will go my way
On  my knees  I did pray
To be insightful and  gay
A victor and not a prey
To follow and go not  astray
Seizing every opportunity that comes my way.

Alas!Here comes the clop-clop
of raindrops on my rooftop
The flash of lightning and bash of thunder
makes my heart do a flip-flop.
I run to the windows  lined-up the back drop for fear of  mopping up
All plans of the day blown up!

Then I see the sun
hiding behind the hilltop
The  rainbow ray
promise of a beautiful day.

It's all the kick I need to start my day.
