Analysis of The Tree
I have lived long,
I have been planted
I have seen many
But none have stayed for long
I have been left
Found
And
Forgotten
For so long I have been here watching
Waiting
For someone, anyone
To come along
And talk to me
I have heard many
I have saved many
I have destroyed many
But I still came walking
I have still came talking
So that you can be saved
I seem like a monster
I look scary
I put up this act so people can find themselves
Even when you leave I still remember you
Remember your importance
Remember your mother's importance
But I have a question for you
Will you remember the one that helped you
Through all of this
Will you remember the big tree that came walking
That came talking
Just to see you
Will you remember me
