Analysis of Bus poem

Junipers sound their fright altering
The weeping around them doubting
Seasons call

Sweet lilac shells litter the garden of our dreams swept away by the willows breeze
Awash the boundless tides

Weeping into solitude aware
Of the earthly cauldron we breathe the mist
In the mountains looking
For the scent of our childhood

Stalks of harvest whisper
Sweet and soft to the touch prickles
Aches forgotten here and now
We remind ourselves

Otherworldly tempos beget
The songs which we call
Dancing in the starlit night beneath
The lake sky where breath restores

In this well worn solitude we fan the noise of this life
uncared for in the respite
mellow for the summer light

Skirts spray across the walkbridge unhousing
idle memories and future anxieties
On this they agree

Sublimated beneath the rubbles they emerge
Unscathed and unloathing
Troubles warped across the universe expanding

Swimming into the twilight I breathe
Earthy man that I am unforgiving
Into the midnight breeze
Squandering the odour of my birth

The tides of time strain and sift hallowed sands unrelenting in their paths
Heavy is my soul without water without which life is naught but ills

This guilt that I feel burdens my nether mind
Forceful in its sharp cry and reminds
Me to be

Illusions cloud and hustle burley figures running around inside my mind deceiving
Myself wondering what can be and cutting
The animal

To be released and be free
To be honest and happy
To stand with and outside of you me

Little do they know
Zodiacs in their dreams quench
Silos in their nightmare fulfill
They stop forget move towards.

About this poem

I wrote this poem across several days in December last year, some on the bus to work and others just throughout the day on my phone. It is the longest of the poems that I have written, and I think it captures alot of different feelings and emotions that I've had bubbling away inside for some time now. I'm not sure what readers will take away from this poem or find it nice to read or anything - but we shall see I guess.
