Analysis of BANG

The door banged
I was startled
At my work
But more amazed I was
At unnecessary violence
Found in the things.
Then I noticed
My little son
Had come in-------excitedly
Meaning no harm.

Such is life, too
Sweet and innocent
But cruel to no purpose at all.
