Analysis of Words

Words – some like feathers
Some like lava stones
Descend with dusty, deadly force
Letters pronounced, leave their mark
Announce revolution – call for change
No more the status quo
The haves and have-nots locking horns
Continents on fire; armies ready
Folly and insanity
Leveling populations
Zealots with religious blindness –
We are not yet ready to escape to other planets!
When will the insatiable insanity stop?
Avarice, jealousy, ego and hate
Shrouded in the name of preservation
This need to protect, secure, control
Are the gods in heaven betting on the outcome?
Do we, mortals at the zenith of our history
Have to be imbeciles and start over?
Stop us! Where are you, Judge – Empire?
The flood of tears and war
The menace of self-destruction

Is near –
Words into peace offerings
Melt our hearts and pray for reason
Has no one ever heard of World Peace?

Heaven help us!
How are my words meaningful?

Where do words fall? Have you witnessed the corpses?
Musty now, who picks them up?
What shall I do with them?
