Analysis of The Most Beautiful Thing

Along the narrow and winding road,
Where fairyland met the mortal world.
Trudged a fair little girl with a heavy heart,
Searching for the most beautiful thing on earth.

Sooner, she passed by a quiet grove,
Where ‘twas cold and the sun rarely shone.
To her awe, she met Red Riding Hood,
Picking flowers for her granny in the woods.

When asked about the most beautiful thing,
Red Riding Hood replied without thinking.
“Safety is the most beautiful thing to behold,
I hope I would not meet the cunning wolf”.

Then, the little girl heard the seven dwarfs crying,
Over a lifeless body of a princess, they were mourning.
They said, “Love is the most beautiful thing,
Because it can bring Snow White’s life back again.”

To quench her thirst, the little girl looked for a pond,
And found a coarse frog moping on the ground.
It croaked, “Sincerity is the most beautiful thing to tell,”
May the princess keep her promise to break the spell.

At last, the little girl found a spot to drink,
Looking at her reflection, she started to think.
How foolish she was not to realize,
She got the most beautiful eyes that tantalize.
