Analysis of Inconsequential time

Vincent Parker 1948 (South Ozone Park, NY)

Time was and shall be
   Even in our immutable
  Way of obstruction or privy

Take time and leave it be
   While our ability to savor
  Suffers immeasurably

Time is consequential
   Time is unforgiving
  Time is remembrance

Another time it might have been
  Yet almost impossible to know
How, why or when but somehow

Time to fly, time to ease into
More or less some other time
While wishing or begging for mine.
