Analysis of IT'S NEVER TOO LATE
A woman sat alone
On a night so cold and still
To put her pen to work
With the writing of her will
Little did she know
That someone else was in that room
Who had once lived on this earth
Who had met the same doom
She started to write the words
"I leave...," then paused
For the first time she realized she had nothing
From all the turmoil she had caused
Tears frantically fell
Rolling fast down her cheeks
For the doctors only gave her life
Another possible two weeks
She dropped to the floor
Banging her fists to the ground
"Why God? Why am I so lost!?"
"Will I ever be found?"
See, she had spent most of her life
Judging others the wrong way
Calling people racial slurs
Never listening to what others say
She yelled threats of insanity for fun
Telling others she hoped they'd die
Even tripping random strangers; some small children
As they innocently walked by
She mocked every church; Even God
Used Bible pages for smoke
She was your monster under your beds
Waiting to inflict more abuse as you woke
She made it clear from the beginning
You were only here for money
Most little kids hear, "I love you!"
She wouldn't even call her's honey
She was manipulative; Conniving
Only nice when you had something to give
She always expected respect from others
But her actions were always so hard to forgive
One day, God decided
The destruction was just too much
She wouldn't change her ways for nobody
Not even with a loving touch
Now here today
Death is looking her in the face
She's just now realizing
She lived her life a disgrace
God looked down upon her
Eyes full of tears; Earth standing still
Wondering why people wait til the end
Before they realize that HE is REAL
It's never too late
To change where you have wronged
To find your inner peace
Find the place where you belong
If you find yourself in this poem
Anywhere, what so ever at all
Just remember you can't change your past
But you can be found, if ever you shall fall!

About this poem
This was inspired by abuses caused to me by female relatives. It's also a message that if we live our lives in destruction and pain, we may never see happiness in our futures. It's never too late to change for the better regardless of what you have done. NOTE: Currently nobody has 2 weeks to live. It's the message in the work that sends the world the message I personally am trying to get out there.
