Analysis of A Man Who Plays Blues
I love to get drunk in the middle of the night
When no one's awake, everything was silent
Life is always ups and downs
Some friends just pretend to be around
Pain once was so painful and hard to take in
Now I can smile and laugh off all those by joking
Met a man who sang blues with his guitar
I let him to take my heart like my heart was his cigar
He sang those songs to reflect my past
He drove me to Heaven quite fast
He played “Fast Car” with his guitar by looking at me
I felt like I was dancing on the could number 9 and ready to flee
His bright brown eyes said I was his last
His arms wrapped my tiny body to make me feel blessed
I bargained with the fate to make him stay longer
The fate smiled at me and said our love just got stronger
He kissed my lips and I tasted that soft blueberries
My whole body was trembling when he asked me to marry
I said yes and danced with those songs that he sang
He played guitar and dedicated his songs to one and only fan
Life is getting better when he's around
I forgot all of my pains and started living safe and sound
A man who played Blues with his Guitar
He sings those songs and makes my life sweeter

About this poem
I got drunk a bit on the other night while I was listening to blues and soul music and felt like I wanted to write some poem in dreamy way. So, I wrote down how I felt and this is how this came out.
